Meeting on February 6, 2016
First of all Hans G. Weidinger discussed the state of planning of the program as well as the course of the coming Harmonic Symposium 2016 in Nuremberg.
He then put together with Holger Ulmann the new website <https://en.harmonik-zentrum-deutschland.de> in front. Particular reference has been made to the new „Blog“ page compared to the previous website and its use explained.
The main topic of the afternoon was the presentation by Holger Ullmann: „What is a simplex *?
Part I – Practical introduction to the way of thinking and working, and
Part 2 „Consequences for the harmony“.
Finally, an addition to the web page of the HZD „What is Harmonic“ entitled „What harmony is not“ was presented and discussed.
Schließlich wurde noch eine Ergänzung der Webunterseite des HZD „Was ist Harmonik“ mit dem Titel „Was Harmonik nicht ist“ vorgestellt und diskutiert.
English Version: „What is Harmonic not“.
Meeting on April 2, 2016
First, the last stage of preparations for the Harmonik Symposium 2016 in Nuremberg was discussed.
The main topic of the afternoon was the presentation of Hans G. Weidinger „Science and Art – Development in Three ‚Millennia‘ – until today“.
It was shown how the self-understanding of science and art has developed and changed in three major cultural-historical periods, until today:
◾In the „1st millennium“ between ~ 800 a.C. up to ~ 200 p.C .:
in the unity of man with the cosmos and himself.
◾In the „2nd millennium“ between ~ 200 p.C. until ~ 1400 p.C. :
in the conflict between this world and the hereafter.
◾In the „3rd millennium“ between ~ 1400 p.C. until ~ 1900 p.C .:
in search of new certainty and freedom.
◾And today: in a new departure into the unknown.
The presentation can be downloaded as pdf-file HERE (in German) .
Meeting on June 11, 2016
First of all, we looked back to the Harmonics- Symposium 2016. See also the compilation on our website HERE (English version)
Critical to note is the too large number of lectures and thus too little scope for encounter and exchange.
On the other hand, many suggestions came up. Both for your own personal engagement with the topic of harmony. As well as for the future work of our association.
For example, Sophie Ammann’s small dance performance was well received. This raises the question once again whether there is still an exchange with the other dance activities, e.g. in anthroposophical groups (keyword eurythmy) is possible.
Also important is the idea of Biljana Papazov-Ammann to realize more participation in society through applied harmonics.
See her previous presentation on April 24: „Harmonious Potentials in the Human Community“
All in all, we must all continue to work to deepen our own self-understanding of harmonics as well as to carry the idea of harmonics further into society. And there in particular in the educational field.
A suggestion that Ms Dagmar Groth made at the end of the symposium can serve this purpose. She is a very active music pedagogue, in particular also in her function as the first chairman of the „Förderverein in support of musically talented young people e.V.“ in the Nuremberg region (cf.https://www.fv-musik.de/).
This proposal was thoroughly discussed later in the afternoon. There was a group of members of our Harmonics-Group for the implementation of this idea. Specifically, this is a harmonic workshop for young people, ages 6-10 and 11-18 years. This group is preparing a working concept, which will then be carried out in cooperation with the above-mentioned association in the autumn of this year.
Finally, the realization of a visit to the orthodox monastery in Buchhagen was now specifically discussed. For this purpose, one of the appointments proposed by the monastery was selected: the weekend of September 9-11, 2016. Presently 10 members of our Harmonics-Group are interested. The clarification of the travel arrangements has begun.
Meeting on July 23, 2016
This afternoon only 6 friends and friends of the harmonics met in the studio on Danziger Straße. The main topic was:
„Harmonik. gestern – heute – morgen“.
first in a presentation by Hans G. Weidinger. And then in a long conversation on the sunny terrace. Due to the large and deep resonance in this small circle, the treatment of this topic has been revised to a separate contribution on this website, which can be reached on the above mentioned link.
Further meetings in 2016
could not take place due to illness.
